Business of Art

On Wednesday, November 18, 2010, Bonnie North’s interview with me about the Business of Art 101 workshop aired on the local NPR affiliate WUWM’s daily LAKE EFFECT program. Woot!

Whether you’re an emerging or mid-career artist, the Business of Art 101 workshop will be useful by helping you identify and target as well as expand and define your work, your market, and new possibilities.

Business of Art 101 is a workshop based on a course I developed for art students at Florida Gulf Coast University (FortMyers FL). Several of my former students are now working painters and sculptors while many others have found fulfillment in arts related professions like: graphic / web design; fine art / museum administration, curatorial, and preparatorial endeavors; art conservation and framing; arts education; arts marketing; and so on.
