Kate Kramer is an experienced fine art, humanities, and media professional who has spent her career initiating and facilitating an ongoing dialogue on the arts among artists, academics, students, and Jill Q. public through her teaching and public lectures as well as coordinator and curator of numerous arts events, exhibitions, lectures, and conferences. Over the past twenty years, Kate’s work with commercial galleries, higher education, and non-profit arts organizations has involved developing financial plans, working with and retaining artists, exploring new media, collaborating with the private and public sectors, and, of course, event planning. A former Art History and Literature professor, Dr. Kramer currently serves as Deputy Director of the Center for 21st Century Studies, a postdoctoral humanities research institute at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
